2CRSi: Central Player in Europe's Largest AI Infrastructure Hub
2CRSi SA has announced a significant advancement in the ÆTHER project with Aether Infrastructures signing a preliminary sale agreement for the 90-hectare Dumarey Powerglide industrial site in Strasbourg. This initiative seeks to transform the site, known as FR-SXB2, into a European industrial hub for artificial intelligence.
The site will integrate manufacturing, energy production, and AI research under three entities: Aether Utilities, Aether Facilities, and Aether Compute. 2CRSi anticipates revenue exceeding one billion euros from deploying AI Factory infrastructure over the 2026-2027 financial year, though potential delays could affect this timeline.
The project aims to enhance Europe's AI capabilities, underpinned by sustainable practices, including biochar production for a possible net-negative carbon footprint. Collaborators include Nhood for site management, ÉS for energy, and several partners in computing infrastructure.
