2G Energy AG Reports a 10% Increase in Q1 Output
2G Energy AG, a leader in sustainable power and CHP systems, announced a 10% rise in total output for Q1 2025, achieving EUR 84.6 million compared to EUR 76.7 million in the previous year. Despite this growth, delays in Eastern Europe have impacted project finalization, causing Q1 sales to remain nearly flat at EUR 69.9 million from EUR 69.5 million last year.
The delays are attributed to backlogs from international customers, mostly in the public sector, which have pushed the final invoicing into Q2 and Q3. This resulted in a weaker EBIT of EUR -3.3 million, a drop from the previous year's EUR 0.9 million.
Despite the short-term setbacks, the Management Board reaffirms their sales and EBIT forecasts for both 2024 and 2025, buoyed by strong market demands, notably in the U.S. and Germany. 2G anticipates at least EUR 10 million in heat pump orders this year, as demand for decentralized energy solutions continues to grow.
