55 North Mining Extends Gold Mineralization at Last Hope Project
55 North Gold Inc. has announced significant assay results from its 2026 winter diamond drill program at the Last Hope Gold Deposit. The drilling extended gold mineralization 300 meters beyond previous estimates. Highlights include an interception of 19.42 meters at 2.49 g/t Au, featuring a 4.50-meter segment grading 5.34 g/t Au, and another strike showing 13.60 g/t Au over 1.00 meter.
Drilling reinforced grade continuity within the resource area and indicated the mineralized system remains open along the southeast strike and depth. CEO Wayne Parsons noted the results confirm continuity and promise further extension potential.
Located in northern Manitoba, Canada, the Last Hope Gold Deposit sits 10 km from Alamos Gold's Lynn Lake Project. The successful program outcomes will guide future drillings to refine resource estimates.
