Abasca Resources Moves Forward with Loki Flake Graphite Project
Abasca Resources Inc. has engaged Tetra Tech Canada Inc. to conduct a Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) for the Loki Flake Graphite Deposit. This marks a significant progression from exploration to a development-ready stage for the deposit.
The PEA will incorporate an updated Mineral Resource Estimate, taking into account the extended strike length achieved through drilling in 2025 and 2026. The study covers various aspects including mine design, metallurgical processes, and infrastructure analysis. Strategic oversight is provided by High Grade Mining Consulting Ltd.
The engagement of Tetra Tech, a global leader in consulting and engineering services, aims to evaluate the project's economic potential, focusing on capital and operating costs. The assessment seeks to outline the framework for advancing the project into the feasibility stage and, eventually, production.
