Zurich-based technology leader ABB Ltd has successfully executed a share buyback program, repurchasing 571,000 shares between August 13 and August 19, 2026. This initiative is part of the ongoing repurchase scheme announced earlier in February 2026. The program complies with relevant Swiss and EU financial regulations, ensuring adherence to market infrastructure and conduct rules.
The daily buybacks occurred on the SIX Swiss Exchange via a separate trading line, managed by a bank working independently of ABB. The bank's decisions on the timing of repurchases were made within specific pre-defined parameters. Throughout the current program, ABB has acquired a total of 6,678,309 shares since February 9, 2026.
