ABB Recognized Among TIME's Most Sustainable Companies

ABB has been recognized as the 14th most sustainable company globally in TIME's "World's Most Sustainable Companies 2025" list and ranks third in Switzerland across all industries. TIME and Statista evaluated over 5,000 companies using a rigorous methodology, considering factors like revenue and market influence.

ABB's achievement is attributed to its sustainable business practices, strong transparency, and environmental stewardship, earning a score of 81.92 out of 100. The company's commitment to sustainability is further reflected in its ambitious net zero targets validated by the Science Based Targets initiative.

ABB aims to significantly reduce Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030 and achieve complete neutrality by 2050. Already, a 78% reduction in these emissions has been accomplished since 2019. Additionally, ABB's corporate transparency in climate change efforts was recognized by the Carbon Disclosure Project.
