ABIONYX Pharma and Lille University Hospital: a partnership to combat sepsis
ABIONYX Pharma has announced the signing of a strategic partnership with the University Hospital of Lille. This partnership aims to explore the potential of CER-001 in burn victims and intensive care patients. These populations are at high risk of sepsis, often caused by a dysregulated immune response.
The goal is to better understand the interactions between apoA-I, endotoxin, and the underlying biological mechanisms. The program will include the study of key biomarkers and their link to sepsis. The results could guide the clinical development of CER-001.
ABIONYX hopes that this collaboration will broaden the application of CER-001 beyond sepsis, to other acute immuno-inflammatory dysregulations.
