Clearvise AG Advances Tamarigi Solar Project in Italy

clearvise AG has secured a building permit for the Tamarigi solar project in Italy, with a capacity of approximately 5.7 MWp. Located southwest of Rome in the Lazio region, the site utilizes decommissioned gravel and sand quarries for solar energy generation. Bernhard Gierke, CEO, emphasized favorable conditions for solar energy at the site. The project, part of the Italian development cooperation program, marks a step towards electricity generation in 2027.

The installation will feature around 8,760 bifacial modules on a fixed structure, designed for minimal maintenance. Local grid operator Areti will connect the project to the Ponte Galeria substation. The plant aims to generate about 8.5 GWh annually, with options for participation in the Italian FER-X auction and a power purchase agreement.

clearvise is also developing a sister project, Turetta, nearby, with a capacity of 6.6 MWp. The Turetta project awaits a building permit by late 2026, featuring similar technical designs. Combined, both projects will contribute approximately 12 MWp of solar energy capacity.
