Accor Addresses Allegations on Human Rights Practices
On March 19, 2026, Accor responded to a report questioning its human rights practices. The company firmly denies involvement in any systemic human or child trafficking exploitation. Accor is conducting a detailed internal investigation and has employed an external firm to verify the report's claims. Findings from these investigations will be made public. Should any allegations be proven, Accor intends to take appropriate measures and legal action against those involved.
Accor emphasizes its long-standing commitment to combating human trafficking and child exploitation. The group has implemented stringent policies, regular audits, and staff training programs to address these issues, completing its latest audit in 2025.
The group also addressed allegations linking it to Jeffrey Epstein. Accor stated that CEO Sebastien Bazin had met Epstein only once, over twenty years ago, in a professional setting with other investors. According to Accor, no connections exist between the group and Epstein.
