Aclara Resources Enhances Sustainability with Water Rights Relinquishment in Chile

Aclara Resources Inc. announced its decision to relinquish all water rights for the Penco Rare Earths Project in Chile. The move is in line with ongoing discussions with local communities and aims to use 100% recycled water supplied by Essbio, conserving local water sources. This initiative marks the first entirely recycled water project in the Biobío region.

Aclara's approach aligns with its commitment to sustainability and was recognized by the UN's Global Compact Network in Chile. The project's Environmental Impact Assessment includes innovative technology emphasizing recycled water use, significantly reducing industrial waste.

Nielsen Donoso, Aclara's General Manager, highlighted the company's focus on environmental protection and community welfare. Aclara has previously received international awards for its sustainable innovations in mineral sourcing and processing.
