ADS-TEC Energy to Provide Ultra-Fast Chargers for Q8 in Benelux
ADS-TEC Energy GmbH announced its selection as the supplier for Q8, a key mobility sector player, to provide more than a dozen ultra-fast battery-based charging systems. This partnership is set to enhance electric vehicle infrastructure across Belgium and the Netherlands using ADS-TEC's ChargePost and ChargeBox systems.
The deployment addresses limited grid capacity issues by enabling high-speed charging at up to 320 kW without extensive grid upgrades. This solution comes amid a significant rise in electric vehicle registrations in both countries, driving demand for flexible charging infrastructure.
Beyond charging, ADS-TEC's solutions potentially offer additional revenue through energy trading and advertising. With limited grid capacity challenges, these innovative systems could play a pivotal role in the future expansion of electric mobility in the region.
