Adtran Networks SE Announces Q4 and FY 2024 Financial Results
Adtran Networks SE reported a moderate growth of 0.4% in Q4 2024 revenues, reaching EUR 118.9 million. This signifies a 17.3% increase from Q3 2024. However, the annual revenues saw a significant decline of 28.6%, amounting to EUR 438.1 million for the fiscal year 2024. The reduction was linked to diminished service provider spending and high customer inventory levels.
The pro forma earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) for Q4 2024 stood at EUR 3.9 million, a stark drop from EUR 9.3 million in Q4 2023. Despite this annual dip, there was a positive swing from a Q3 2024 loss driven by improved revenues and gross margin. Full-year EBIT reported a EUR 4.5 million loss, contrasting markedly with a profit in 2023.
Adtran's strategic focus on a favorable customer mix and reduced purchasing costs slightly bolstered the gross margin. The final audited annual financial statements are expected in April 2025.
