Unlimited renewal of the marketing authorization for Sibnayal® by Advicenne in the United Kingdom

On July 1, 2026, Advicenne announced that the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) granted the unlimited renewal of the Marketing Authorisation (MA) for Sibnayal® in the United Kingdom. This treatment, a combination of citrate and potassium bicarbonate, targets distal renal tubular acidosis (dRTA), a rare kidney disease affecting children and adults.
