AFYREN receives €3 million for its ecological transition
AFYREN, a company specializing in bio-based solutions, has received a €3 million grant from the European Just Transition Fund, overseen by the Grand Est region. This support is in addition to the remaining €2.2 million obtained in March 2026 through Bpifrance's France Relance program.
This funding will support investments in the AFYREN NEOXY plant, now wholly owned by the company. The grant demonstrates AFYREN's ability to create value and jobs through its unique technology.
Nicolas Sordet, CEO of AFYREN, emphasizes the fragility of oil-dependent business models and the importance of bio-based solutions. AFYREN continues its efforts to improve the performance of its industrial site.
