AFYREN Reports 2025 Financials and Completes AFYREN NEOXY Acquisition
AFYREN has announced its 2025 full-year financial results and the complete acquisition of the AFYREN NEOXY biorefinery. In 2025, AFYREN NEOXY produced 400 tons of bio-based acids and significant fertilizer volumes, generating approximately €1 million in sales, marking its first significant revenue stream.
Financially, AFYREN ended 2025 with a cash position of €35.2 million, driven by capital raised from investors. The company recorded a net loss of €14.4 million, which aligns with the typical financial trajectory during an industrial ramp-up phase.
The acquisition of the remaining stake in NEOXY, held by Bpifrance's SPI, enhances AFYREN's operational control and financial visibility. Looking ahead, AFYREN plans to continue optimizing NEOXY and pursue further production increases, aiming for profitability and the validation of a potential second plant by 2028.
