AFYREN Secures FSSC 22000 Certification for AFYREN NEOXY Plant

AFYREN has achieved FSSC 22000 certification for its AFYREN NEOXY plant, signifying excellence in food safety. This certification is in the "Production and processing of biobased monocarboxylic acids" for food and feed industries. It represents the highest standards in food safety, assuring quality and compliance with stringent industry standards recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative.

The certification underscores AFYREN's proactive stance on food safety management and its adaptability to regulatory frameworks across Europe and globally. It highlights the company's commitment to a "Food Safety Culture" through management engagement, communication, and continuous improvement.

Joachim Merziger, Chief Commercial Officer, emphasizes that this certification is a testament to AFYREN's pledge to quality and forms part of its strategic relationship with key partners. Following an extensive internal audit, the certification will undergo annual evaluations, valid for three years.
