AGRANA Reports Annual Results for 2024/25

AGRANA Beteiligungs-AG has unveiled its annual results for the 2024/25 fiscal year, revealing a 7.2% drop in revenue to €3,514.0 million. Operating profit fell significantly to €40.5 million. The downturn was driven by challenges in the starch and sugar segments due to a weak European economy and market unpredictability.

Despite these challenges, the Fruit segment showed strong performance, with revenue increasing by 4.1%, bolstered by price gains and higher fruit preparation sales. CEO Stephan Büttner highlighted the launch of the AGRANA NEXT LEVEL strategy aiming for stability through structural changes.

Looking forward, AGRANA anticipates steady EBIT for 2025/26, despite potential market volatility influenced by geopolitical factors and Ukrainian imports. The company forecasts a slight decrease in overall revenue.
