AgroGeneration Reports on 2026 Harvest and Market Challenges
As of August 2026, AgroGeneration completed its early crop harvest over 11,500 hectares, yielding 46.8 thousand tons. This includes winter wheat, barley, rapeseed, peas, chickpeas, and flax. Notably, the winter wheat yield increased to 4.6 tons per hectare, outperforming last year's 3.0 tons due to favorable weather. However, only 16% of the wheat reached food-grade quality, down from 40% in 2025, due to pre-harvest rain affecting protein levels.
AgroGeneration also resumed cultivating winter barley and rapeseed, yielding 4.3 and 2.3 tons per hectare, respectively. Peas and flax production rose thanks to early sowing and sufficient moisture. Despite this, domestic market prices have dropped significantly due to the ongoing Ukraine hostilities. The company's 2026 harvest sales plan remains cautious, pending better market conditions.
