The Air France-KLM group has announced it will pay €368 million following a ruling by the Court of Justice of the European Union. This decision follows the dismissal of its appeal against a previous judgment by the General Court of the European Union, which upheld a penalty imposed by the European Commission in 2017.

Thirteen carriers are affected, including Air France, KLM, and Martinair. The practices in question date back more than two decades and are now definitively sanctioned for their anti-competitive nature.

Air France-KLM is committed to strictly adhering to competition law, strengthening its prevention measures as part of its compliance policy. The group had already set aside €366 million for this fine, which will be paid in March 2026.
