Air Liquide Expands in India with NovaAir Acquisition
Air Liquide has secured an agreement to acquire NovaAir, an industrial gas producer in India, from PAG, a private equity firm. This strategic move enhances Air Liquide's footprint in India, notably in East and South regions. Founded in 2019, NovaAir serves key industries like steel, automotive, and healthcare with industrial and specialty gases, along with EPC services.
This acquisition complements Air Liquide's operations in the North and West, broadening its reach in the industrial merchant market. It aligns with Air Liquide’s commitment to long-term growth opportunities in India, where it has operated since 1992.
Emilie Mouren-Renouard of Air Liquide emphasized that the acquisition underscores their commitment to India's industrial and healthcare sectors, enhancing service capacity across diverse industries.
