Air Liquide's ADVANCE Plan Shows Strong 2024 Progress on Sustainability

Air Liquide released its Integrated Annual Report, highlighting solid advancements in sustainability through its ADVANCE plan. The 2024 performance reflects progress in environmental, health, and societal aspects.

Environmentally, the company reduced Scope 1 and 2 CO2 emissions by 11% since 2020, surpassing its 2025 goals. Carbon intensity decreased by 41% from 2015 levels. Low-carbon electricity sourcing rose, with over 40% of energy from renewable or nuclear sources.

In health, Air Liquide improved access to medical oxygen in 30 countries, benefiting over 2.7 million people. Home healthcare services now include 57% personalized care.

Societal efforts include a 32% drop in accident rates and comprehensive care for all 66,500 employees, one year ahead of schedule. Female representation in management increased to 33%, aiming for 35% by 2025.
