AMAG Austria Metall AG Announces CEO Succession
Ranshofen-based AMAG Austria Metall AG announced the succession plan for its CEO position effective from May 2026. Helmut Kaufmann, the current CEO, is set to step down after nearly two decades at the helm. Victor Breguncci, currently Chief Sales Officer, will succeed him as CEO on May 1, 2026. Breguncci has served on the Management Board since 2019.
Additionally, Claudia Trampitsch has been reappointed as CFO until the end of 2029. Alexander Moser-Parapatits, the current Head of Strategy & Corporate Development, will join the Management Board as Chief Strategy & Innovation Officer starting May 2026.
The Supervisory Board emphasizes the seamless transition and internal appointments will ensure stability. Kaufmann leaves having significantly influenced AMAG's strategic development.
