Amarc Resources Initiates 2026 Drilling at JOY District

Amarc Resources Ltd. has commenced its 2026 field program at the JOY Copper-Gold District in British Columbia, in collaboration with AuRORA Minerals Ltd. This initiative comes under a joint venture, with Freeport-McMoRan holding a 60% stake and Amarc 40%. The program focuses on expanding the AuRORA Deposit, a promising site with substantial gold and copper potential.

The program aims to explore further the TWINS Copper-Gold Discovery, underlining its potential through additional drilling. Furthermore, comprehensive geological surveys will continue to advance the knowledge of the district’s copper-gold deposit targets. Amarc, as the primary contractor, manages these operations on behalf of AuRORA Minerals Ltd.

This exploration activity is part of Amarc’s strategy to harness the untapped potential of the Toodoggone region, building on successful previous drilling operations.
