VEON and Amdocs Forge 10-Year Partnership for Digital Transformation

VEON Ltd., a global digital operator, has entered a 10-year strategic agreement with Amdocs, a leader in software and services for communications and media firms. This partnership aims to advance VEON's digital services through Amdocs' AI technology. Amdocs will manage and modernize VEON's core technology operations, enhancing its digital strategy. The collaboration promises long-term cost predictability for VEON's IT operations across Eurasia.

Amdocs will integrate QazCode's technology into its agentic operating system, aOS, designed for telecommunications. This move is expected to enhance customer experiences and digital services. VEON's CEO emphasized the importance of AI services, which comprise 27% of the group’s revenue, and sees this partnership as a step forward in enhancing digital experiences for customers.

The agreement also strengthens Amdocs' presence in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and the wider Eurasian region, presenting opportunities for growth. Both companies express a shared vision to shape the future of digital operations.
