Amrize Appoints Baris Oran as New CFO

Amrize Ltd has announced the appointment of Baris Oran as Chief Financial Officer, effective April 1. Oran, a seasoned finance professional, brings extensive experience from his previous roles at GXO Logistics and other major firms. He succeeds Ian Johnston, who will continue as a senior advisor to ensure a seamless transition.

Oran's diverse background covers a range of industries, which aligns with Amrize's growth strategies. Jan Jenisch, Chairman and CEO, expressed gratitude to Johnston for his significant contribution, notably in the successful spin-off of Amrize as a publicly traded company.

Oran's career highlights include strategic financial roles at Sabanci Group and Kordsa. With expertise in capital markets, M&A, and balance sheet management, he is well-positioned to drive Amrize's financial objectives forward.
