ANDRITZ Extends CEO Contract Until 2032

GRAZ, March 4, 2026. The Supervisory Board of ANDRITZ Group has approved the contract extension of CEO Dr. Joachim Schönbeck. Initially set to expire in April 2027, his tenure will now continue until April 2032. Dr. Schönbeck joined the executive board in 2014 and became president and CEO in 2022.

Under his leadership, the technology group has enhanced its strategic position and expanded its presence in growth markets. Key initiatives have included a focus on decarbonization, digitalization, and improved customer service. Chairman Wolfgang Leitner stated the extension ensures stability for all stakeholders.
