Apex Critical Metals Expands REE Holdings at Elk Creek Rift Project

Apex Critical Metals Corp., a Canadian company, has acquired new rare earth exploration rights at its Elk Creek Rift Project in Nebraska. This addition covers roughly 3,024 acres and aims to refine the company's initial drilling plans, projecting a start by year's end.

Historical data highlights zones like EC-93 and NEC11-004 with open-ended rare earth mineralization. Further drilling will explore areas such as EC-43 and EC-04, initially drilled by Molycorp, offering high-grade mineralization intervals.

This expansion aligns with U.S. efforts to boost domestic rare earth element production, amid global supply chain vulnerabilities and notable investments by the Department of Defense and Apple in American REE operations.
