Argo Blockchain Announces Hosting Plans for Crypto Miners

Argo Blockchain plc, a prominent player in the cryptocurrency mining industry, has revealed its latest hosting strategy. The company has partnered with Merkle Standard LLC to host 5,293 S19J Pro miners in Memphis, Tennessee. These units, formerly located at Helios, are set for deployment in February for at least a year. Additional discussions aim to expand this hosting capacity.

An extra 2,500 miners will be installed at Argo's Baie Comeau facility in Quebec, leveraging existing space. Argo is converting previously hosted miners from immersion cooling to air cooling, expecting completion by March's end. Shipments to the hosting sites are scheduled for February, operationalizing a third of its 23,000 miners by the month's close.

This strategic move is anticipated to enhance Argo's hashrate progressively throughout February. The company continues to explore further hosting options for the remaining miners.
