Argo Blockchain PLC Appoints New CEO

Argo Blockchain PLC has announced the appointment of Justin Nolan as Chief Executive Officer and Director, effective March 22, 2025. Nolan returns to Argo after his tenure as CEO at Arkon Energy, a digital infrastructure company. He previously contributed to Argo's growth, notably in the Helios project development, initially under DPN LLC, which was acquired by Argo in 2021.

Matthew Shaw, Argo's chairman, expressed enthusiasm about Nolan’s return, citing his industry expertise and leadership as crucial for Argo's future growth. Nolan is granted 22,250,000 performance share units tied to Argo's stock, vesting over three years, conditional to performance metrics and continued employment.

The company’s notification includes thorough details of the transaction related to Nolan's PSUs, emphasizing transparency in managerial changes. Argo, known for sustainable cryptocurrency mining operations, continues to strengthen its leadership to enhance market position and efficiency.
