Aristotle Partners with Department of Trust for UK Gambling Compliance
Aristotle Integrity, the KYC and Identity division of Aristotle, has announced a collaboration with the Department of Trust to provide advanced affordability checks and diligence technology. This partnership specifically aids UK-regulated online gambling companies in meeting new UKGC responsible gambling requirements by February 28, 2025. Operators are required to perform financial risk assessments for players whose net deposits exceed £150 in 30 days, covering approximately 20% of online players.
John Aristotle Phillips, CEO of Aristotle, stated that integrating Department of Trust's expertise enhances their Integrity FinAfford™ product, streamlining compliance processes for iGaming operators. Similarly, Charles Cohen, CEO of DoTrust, expressed excitement about offering accurate, compliant risk assessments at a pivotal time.
The Integrity FinAfford™ product simplifies player onboarding by combining financial risk checks with Aristotle's IDV process, assisting operators in determining player deposit thresholds. Aristotle plans to expand into Brazil, anticipating similar regulations, and is exploring the US market.
