Arkema Announces New Chief Operating Officer
Effective July 1st, 2026, Laurent Tellier will take on the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Arkema, succeeding Marc Schuller, who is set to retire. Tellier will report directly to Thierry le Hénaff, Arkema’s Chairman and CEO. This leadership change marks an important transition for the company, as Tellier will now oversee all business segments, including Adhesive Solutions, Advanced Materials, and Coating Solutions.
Marc Schuller, who played a crucial role in Arkema's evolution into a global leader in specialty chemicals since its spin-off in 2006, will continue to serve as a special advisor until September 30th to ensure a seamless transition. Laurent Tellier brings over 25 years of international industry experience and has been with Arkema since February 2023, holding senior positions in High Performance Polymers and Fluorogases.
Arkema aims to strengthen its position in specialty materials under Tellier's leadership, as the company thrives in major regions, including Asia, the Americas, and Europe.
