BlackRock crosses the threshold in ARKEMA
On April 24, 2025, BlackRock Inc., a New York-based asset manager, crossed the 5% threshold in ARKEMA. The company acquired 3,831,939 ARKEMA shares, representing 5.04% of the capital and 4.03% of the voting rights. This acquisition resulted from share purchases on the market and an increase in the number of shares held as collateral.
ARKEMA, listed on Euronext Paris, thus sees a significant portion of its capital held by a major player in asset management. BlackRock stated that it acts on behalf of clients and funds under management, with discretionary power over voting rights.
