BlackRock Crosses Threshold in Arkema Capital
On January 31, 2025, Arkema announced that BlackRock Inc., as investment manager, had crossed downwards the threshold of 5% of Arkema's capital. This crossing took place on January 30, 2025, with BlackRock now holding 4.72% of the capital and 3.77% of the voting rights via 3,588,661 shares.
This change results from the reduction in the number of Arkema shares held by BlackRock as collateral. The shares affected include ADRs, shares arising from contracts for differences and shares linked to securities lending and borrowing agreements.
BlackRock nevertheless retains 339,028 additional shares on behalf of clients, without exercising the associated voting rights.
