BlackRock exceeds 5% of Arkema's capital
On June 19, 2025, Arkema announced that BlackRock Inc. had crossed a threshold. The US asset manager had surpassed the 5% stake in the French company. BlackRock now holds 5.04% of Arkema's capital and 4.03% of its voting rights. This increase is the result of an off-market acquisition and an increase in shares held as collateral.
In detail, BlackRock owns 3,831,146 Arkema shares, including 97,003 ADRs and 256,188 shares issued through contracts for differences. BlackRock also disclosed that it holds 78,337 shares as collateral. A portion of the shares is managed without transferring voting rights to BlackRock.
