BlackRock reduces its stake in ARKEMA
Investment management firm BlackRock Inc. recently announced that it had crossed the 5% threshold of the capital of ARKEMA, a company listed on Euronext Paris. This statement, confirmed by a letter received on January 10, 2025, reveals that on January 9, 2025, BlackRock held for its clients and funds, 3,735,560 shares of ARKEMA, representing 4.91% of the capital and 3.93% of the voting rights.
This threshold crossing is mainly the result of an off-market sale and a reduction in shares held as collateral. However, BlackRock retains discretionary management of voting rights, unless its clients request otherwise.
