Ørsted Strengthens Executive Leadership with New Appointments
Ørsted A/S, a leading energy company, is set to expand its Group Executive Team effective 1 May 2025. The company announced the appointment of two new members, Amanda Dasch and Godson Njoku, who will report to Group President and CEO Rasmus Errboe. This strategic move aims to strengthen Ørsted's focus on its core business and enhance competitiveness.
Amanda Dasch will take on the role of Chief Development Officer, overseeing Ørsted Commercial across Europe, Americas, and APAC. Previously the CEO of Region Americas at Ørsted, Dasch brings 20 years of energy industry experience. Meanwhile, Godson Njoku will become the Chief Generation Officer, managing Ørsted’s European energy assets. Njoku joins from Shell, where he has extensive leadership experience.
The expanded Executive Team reflects Ørsted’s commitment to bolstering its offshore wind capabilities. Notably, the Deputy CEO role will be discontinued as part of these changes.
