Atlas Salt Begins Preparations for Great Atlantic Salt Project

Atlas Salt Inc. has announced the start of land clearing and site preparation activities for the Great Atlantic Salt Project, located near St. George's, Newfoundland and Labrador. The company has fulfilled the necessary Environmental Assessment conditions, obtaining approval from the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador and executing a Benefits Agreement with the province.

These approvals, along with a formal Letter of Release, allow Atlas Salt to begin the early works phase. Initial activities include land clearing and site preparation to establish the mine site footprint.

Nolan Peterson, CEO of Atlas Salt, emphasized the importance of these activities as a milestone in the development of the project. The company aims to continue advancing regulatory submissions as they move into subsequent phases.
