Aton Resources Appoints Oscar Amigo as COO of Aton Mining
Aton Resources Inc. has appointed Oscar Amigo as the Chief Operating Officer of its subsidiary, Aton Mining Inc. With over 20 years of global experience, Mr. Amigo has held senior roles in companies like First Quantum Minerals, B2Gold, and Pan American Silver. He brings expertise in project development and financial strategy.
Tonno Vahk, CEO of Aton, highlighted Amigo's role in accelerating the development of the Hamama West gold-silver mine in Egypt. Amigo's experience will support the evaluation and development of multiple projects within the Abu Marawat Concession, aiming to strengthen Aton's presence in the Egyptian mining sector.
Additionally, 300,000 stock options at $0.25 each have been granted to Amigo as part of his appointment. This strategic move aims to solidify Aton's goal of becoming a leading player in the region's mining industry.
