Atos SE Appeals Amended Judgment in TriZetto Case
On May 19, 2026, Atos SE filed an appeal with the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. The appeal challenges the Amended Final Judgment dated April 29, 2026, in the litigation between Syntel and TriZetto, a Cognizant subsidiary. The United States District Court for the Southern District of New York ordered Atos and Syntel to pay $297.9 million to TriZetto, as per a March 27, 2026, decision.
To delay enforcement of this judgment, Atos has secured a supersedeas bond, covering the full judgment plus interest. This involves a $290 million cash deposit, elevating the financial assurance by an extra $203 million.
Atos asserts that this judgment will not significantly impact their assets or financial stability.
