Auto-suisse proposes a plan for electromobility

At its annual conference in Bern and Zurich, auto-suisse unveiled a plan of measures aimed at boosting electric mobility while curbing overregulation of the automotive industry. These measures include tax incentives for charging stations and a liberalization of the electricity market to reduce costs.

Although the supply of electric vehicles is increasing, demand remains stagnant, partly due to the Swiss CO2 ordinance, which is considered too strict compared to European standards. Industry representatives stress the need for cooperation between various stakeholders to succeed in the energy transition.
