Baloise Swiss Property Fund: Capital increase planned for 2026
Baloise Asset Management SA announces a capital increase for the Baloise Swiss Property Fund from August 12 to 25, 2026, targeting up to CHF 159 million. These funds will enable the acquisition of 14 properties in attractive Swiss regions. Currently, the BSPF owns 91 properties with a market value of approximately CHF 1.38 billion, with a strong focus on residential properties.
The proposed transaction will maintain a debt-to-equity ratio close to 22%. A best-efforts share issue is planned, with subscription rights trading from August 12 to 21. The acquisition is expected to diversify and enhance the profitability of the portfolio, which currently belongs to Baloise Life Ltd. Approval has been obtained from FINMA.
