Banyan Gold Intersects High-Grade Gold at Powerline Southwest
Banyan Gold Corp. has announced significant gold mineralization discoveries at the Powerline Deposit in Yukon, Canada. Recent drilling revealed intersections of high-grade gold southwest of the main core. Notable findings include 1.55 g/t gold over 5.4 meters and 1.24 g/t over 11.6 meters. These results underscore potential upgrading of mineralized domains and highlight the promise of new high-grade zones in Powerline Southwest.
Tara Christie, President and CEO, emphasized the focus on drilling to convert inferred resources to indicated and explore beneath the pit for additional ounces. The program has completed over 33,000 meters of its 70,000-meter plan. Detailed core analysis showed mineralization within metasedimentary rocks marked by sheeted quartz veins.
The Powerline project seeks to expand domain knowledge and potentially increase the estimated resources within the conceptual pit shell, constrained by mineralized and lithologic domains.
