China Hongqiao Secures Circular Economy Leadership Award

China Hongqiao Group Limited, a leader in the global aluminum sector, has been awarded the Circular Economy Leadership Award at the 2026 Asia Responsible Enterprise Awards in Singapore. This accolade honors the company's significant advances in recycled aluminum, marking the third consecutive year it has received this recognition. The award provides international acknowledgment of China Hongqiao's dedication to green manufacturing and circular economy practices.

China Hongqiao has integrated sustainability into its core strategy while aligning with China's "3060" dual carbon goals. The enterprise has pledged carbon neutrality by 2055. The company has been facilitating green transformation, focusing on clean energy and low-carbon technologies. It has also established a closed-loop industrial chain, which encompasses mining, production, and recycling processes.

The expansion into recycled aluminum has reduced dependence on raw materials and lowered energy consumption and carbon emissions significantly. Recycled aluminum presents a model for industry efficiency, reducing energy use by nearly 95% and cutting greenhouse gas emissions by over 85%, compared to traditional methods.
