International cycling race in Binzhou 2026: a prestigious edition

On September 9th, the "Nine Nine Yellow River" International Cycling Race began in Binzhou, China. This major Class 1 competition, sanctioned by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), brought together 18 teams from 30 countries, totaling over 400 riders. This now-essential event, marking its sixth edition, has evolved from a regional competition into a flagship event for Chinese sports tourism.

After an intense race along the Yellow River, Serhii Sydor of the Huansheng-VONOA-Taishan Sports team won the yellow jersey. Other athletes distinguished themselves, such as Liam Derek Walsh and Liu Chenglu, who were honored for their individual performances. Huansheng-VONOA-Taishan Sports dominated the team standings.
