BlackBerry Reports 26% Revenue Growth in Q2 FY2027

BlackBerry Limited announced a strong second quarter for fiscal year 2027, ending August 31, 2026, with a revenue increase of 26% year-over-year to $163.3 million. The company's growth spanned several areas, with QNX, its automotive business, reaching record performance.

BlackBerry's CEO, John J. Giamatteo, highlighted the significant QNX milestone with the first Alloy Kore design win. This deal marked the largest in QNX history, adding over $100 million to the royalty backlog.

Adjusted EBITDA rose 81% to $47.0 million, while operating cash flow improved markedly. Secure Communications, although stable, saw a slight decline in segment adjusted EBITDA.

Looking ahead, BlackBerry projects full-year revenue between $616 million and $636 million, aiming for long-term shareholder value through strategic investments.
