Blue Elephant Energy Acquires 381 MW Wind Portfolio in Germany

On December 23, 2025, Blue Elephant Energy (BEE) acquired a 381 MW onshore wind energy portfolio in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Germany. This acquisition triples BEE's wind capacity, expanding its German wind portfolio to 533 MW. The seller, WIND-projekt from Rostock, has operated in the region for over 30 years. The portfolio consists of 37 operational wind farms totaling 260 MW, with additional capacity under construction and planned for commissioning in 2026 and 2027.

The new wind farms are expected to supply green electricity to approximately 33,000 households annually. The strategic acquisition enhances BEE's presence in the German wind market, increasing the share of wind to 25% of its diversified 2.1 GW portfolio. This deal supports BEE's growth in Europe's key wind markets.
