Boiron and Panaxia join forces in medical cannabis
On February 24, 2026, Boiron Laboratories announced the signing of a significant agreement with Panaxia Malta, a key player in the medical cannabis market. This partnership is part of the French experiment led by the ANSM (French National Agency for Medicines and Health Products Safety), aimed at evaluating the feasibility of medical cannabis in France, where Boiron has contributed to the distribution of Panaxia products.
This partnership could, as early as 2029, lead to Boiron acquiring a majority stake in Panaxia for up to €3.2 million. This option aims to support Panaxia's development in the 21 European Union countries that have legalized medical cannabis.
