Bindex Introduces Osteoporosis Screening at Boots Pharmacies

Bone Index Finland Ltd has launched a pilot Bone Density Scan Service at selected Boots pharmacies using Bindex ultrasound technology. This collaboration aims to facilitate early detection of osteoporosis, a condition that weakens bones and increases fracture risk, affecting 3.5 million UK residents. The initiative seeks to shift healthcare from hospitals to community settings, making osteoporosis assessments more accessible.

Bindex, a portable, radiation-free device, provides quick bone health assessments to identify at-risk individuals. It is validated across clinical studies and globally recognized, with over four million scans conducted.
