Change in Leadership at Bucher Municipal

Bucher Industries AG has announced the appointment of Martin Starkey as the new division president of Bucher Municipal, effective January 1, 2026. Starkey, an internal successor, will replace Aurelio Lemos, who is stepping down after a successful 23-year tenure at the company.

Aurelio Lemos joined the company in 2003, eventually becoming the division president in 2016. His leadership saw Bucher Municipal solidify its market position, expand its product range, and advance in electric vehicle development.

Starkey, who currently leads the truck-mounted sweeper segment, has been with Bucher Municipal since 2023. With a solid background in materials science and engineering, Starkey is expected to bring his expertise and familiarity with company operations to his new role.
