Bureau Veritas Acquires Italian Sustainability Specialist SPIN360
Bureau Veritas, a leader in Testing, Inspection, and Certification services, announced the acquisition of SPIN360, a major Italian consulting firm. SPIN360 specializes in sustainable innovation and development for premium fashion and luxury brands. This strategic move supports Bureau Veritas' LEAP | 28 strategy to strengthen its Consumer Product Services and expand in key markets like Italy.
This acquisition combines SPIN360's proprietary Life Cycle Assessment tools and advisory services with Bureau Veritas' certification and supply chain auditing expertise. Established in 2009, Milan-based SPIN360 employs around 30 experts and reported approximately €4 million in revenue in 2024.
Hinda Gharbi, CEO of Bureau Veritas, emphasized the company's ambition to be the preferred partner for fashion and luxury brands seeking compliance and sustainability solutions.
